TUNGSTEN ELECTRODES FOR INCH (OD) TUBE AND IPS PIPE SIZES
All pre-ground Tungsten tips are polished and must pass our demanding quality control process. Arc Machines (AMI) recommends 2% ceriated tungsten which is what we carry. We have many sizes available and in stock. Sizing depends on suggested length guides, type of weld head and size, tube/pipe outside diameter and wall thickness.
Pre-Ground Tungsten Electrodes for orbital welding ordering:
1. Diameter of Tungsten:
04 = 0.040" (1mm)
06 = 1/16", 0.0625" (1.58mm)
09 = 3/32", 0.09375" (2.38mm)
2. Length (inches x 1000)
3. Tip flat diameter: .001", .002", .003", .004"
4. Material needed: Cerriated or Thoriated
EXAMPLE: TC-06-1040-03 = Tungsten Ceriated, 0.0625" Diameter, 1.040" in Length, .003" tip diameter
